thesis

f(n) = n² − 7n + 2 is exactly mirrored about n = 3.5 and irrational at both roots, the one object here that simply holds. Replace every 7 with another digit and Mādhava’s series stops converging, not vaguely but precisely: odd digits collide two indices onto one point of the circle, so by pigeonhole another point is never visited at all. The breaking is never noise. It is data.

what it does

what it does not claim

Only the circle-division argument is genuinely Mādhava’s method. The quadratic’s symmetry shares his taste, not his lineage; the spirals and 3D lifts are modern visualisation with no historical claim attached. No quantum computation occurred, only the classical structure that motivates wanting one.
